Maximizing Proofing, Dot Proofs vs. Contone:
Contone Proofs – Work best for high line screens 150 lpi and up. Highlights are adjusted to represent final print.
Dot Proofs – Work better for low line screens 133 lpi and down. Screening patterns are manually adjusted to represent final print based on press run data.
Spot Color Reproduction:
Spot Colors verified with a Spectrophotometer based on internal Pantone Databases or customer supplied color target.
