Bellow is the Fine Line’s standard checklist that our Customer Service Reps to ensure incoming files meet our flexographic printing standards.
All links accounted for and in high resolution including fonts and images.
File received matches customer order and specifications. (i.e. marks, density scales, cutoff and web width)
Determine common colors for families of jobs and if so, make sure files are set up accordingly.
Suggest color breakdown, adding key lines to copy reversing out of multiple colors based on design.
Full coverage background images reviewed to keep at a minimum number of colors or possibly suggesting a PMS color with a screen over it for clean print and consistent printability.
Reviewing image, drop shadows and any vignettes to determine proper dot structure.
